Who is the main target of the grant?

Support may be requested by a company entered in the Estonian Business Register.
Support may not be requested by a company whose field of activity or project for which support is requested falls within the following areas of activity:

  • agriculture, forestry and fishing
  • wholesale and retail trade, excluding maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles
  • programming, consultancy and related activities
  • financial and insurance activities
  • legal and accounting activities
  • activities of head offices and management consultancy activities
  • advertising and market research activities
  • rental and operating lease
  • temporary employment agency activities
  • organisation of gambling and betting activities

The applicant of the grant must be a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME).

What qualifies for a grant?

We support the creation of new enterprises or units, the development of new products or provision of new services, an increase in production capacity or the complete restructuring of an existing enterprise’s entire production process:

  • the purchase of machinery and equipment and the intangible assets needed for their use
  • the purchase of land and the construction of buildings and structures
  • connection to the network or modification of an existing connection
  • applying for the primary protection of intellectual property resulting from the development of a new product
  • development of processes related to the enterprise’s product or service
  • preparing an assessment of the ‘do no significant harm’ principle and climate proofing
  • preparing the project
  • designing

Before submitting the application, ask questions and register for a preliminary consultation. Preliminary consultation has been completed, as significantly more project plans than the budget of the application round have been submitted for consultation.

Two businesses to invest in new business opportunities thanks to Just Transition Fund

Heavy machinery company Agricom Tehnika is investing almost 2 million euros to establish a waste timber and farmland biomass collection and recycling centre in Ida-Virumaa. Aquaphor is investing 11 million euros to start the production of water purification devices that also work within the framework of smart homes.
