KredEx and Enterprise Estonia have merged. From January 2022, the new organisation’s legal name will be the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency.
Our objectives are to increase Estonia’s international competitiveness and to develop entrepreneurship and the living environment.
To do this, we are helping to promote innovation and develop sustainable business models and research-intensive solutions. We are increasing Estonia’s visibility and attractiveness as a travel destination and as a place to conduct business, live and study. We attract foreign investments with high added value and help recruit top level international workers. We advise businesses on how to find export partners and expand into foreign markets. Additionally, we are helping to develop the start-up ecosystem with the goal of increasing the number of success stories in the field of technology.
To help bring the ideas of companies to life, we offer grants, loans, venture capital, credit insurance and guarantees in order to support their development and secure expansion into foreign markets.
We support private citizens in improving their living conditions by offering surety for acquiring a home or a loan as well as sureties and loans for increasing the energy efficiency of homes. We have helped more than 105,000 people in building or renovating their homes.
Both developing entrepreneurship and increasing energy efficiency play an important role in bringing the green, digital and innovation turn to life.
