Joint stand at the international industrial trade fair Hannover Messe 2026

EIS, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will take companies with Estonian joint stand to the international industrial trade fair HANNOVER MESSE 2026, which will take place from 20.04 to 24.04.2026 in Hannover, Germany..

The aim of organizing a physical exhibition area with a digital component at Hannover Messe 2026 is to introduce the Estonian business environment and create opportunities for Estonian companies to showcase their products/services. The design of the joint stand will be based on the principles and guidelines of the Estonian brand.

Hannover Messe is the world’s largest business-to-business industrial trade fair. The main topic of the fair in 2026 will be AI in Manufacturing.

NB! 2026. A new topic has been added to this year’s fair: Production Technology for Defense. The Estonian joint stand is located in Hall 26, which focuses on defense industry manufacturing and solutions, but also presents the following topics:

  • IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things)
  • Wireless & Cloud
  • IT/OT Security
  • Production Logistics
  • Robotics & Assembly Automation

We invite companies from these fields to apply for the Estonian joint stand if they wish to present their innovative solutions, find cooperation partners, and increase their visibility on the international market.

Applications for the joint stand are open until 27.11.2025.

Who is the fair intended for?

Estonian companies operating in the following fields are welcome to join the joint stand:

  • industrial automation and digitalization,
  • logistics and process automation,
  • robotics,
  • wireless communication and data transmission technologies,
  • cloud services,
  • information security and industrial automation security,
  • defense industry production technologies.

Preference for the joint stand is given to companies that have:

  • clear growth potential and significant growth in recent years
  • added value per employee exceeds the sector average
  • contribute to research, development, and innovation activities (TA&I)
  • clear value proposition

Cost of participating in the fair:

  • The participation fees cover the costs of participating in the EIS fair, renting stand space, design, stand construction, and transport of product samples. This sum also finances the joint marketing and communication activities of the exhibitors.
  • The company shall bear the travel, accommodation, and catering expenses of the participants, as well as the costs of producing its own advertising materials.
  • De minimis aid (de minimis aid) does not exceed EUR 300 000.

    Before attending the trade fair, we carry out preparatory activities with the participants to help the company achieve its goals at the fair. There is an opportunity to participate in trade fair training.
  • Think through your needs in terms of the design of the joint stand and contribute to the development of the marketing and communication plan.
  • Set the goals and strategy for the fair.
  • Let your partners and potential customers know that you will be participating in the fair.
  • Participate in the fair with a team. This will give you more opportunities to benefit from the fair.
  • Prepare your team for the fair.
  • Book accommodation and transport for the fair.

Attend the fair

Participate in a trade fair where you can establish new business contacts and introduce your products/services to potential business partners.

Main topics at HANNOVER MESSE 2026 are Automation & Digitalization, Energy & Industrial Infrasturcture, Research & Technology Transfer, Special Displays.

If possible, participate in trade fair seminars/conferences Speaking Opportunities / Side Events.

A feedback questionnaire must be completed shortly after the fair.

From a business development perspective, the real work begins once the trade fair is over.
To turn the contacts you made at the fair into long-term business relationships, be sure to follow up with them. Compose personalized messages that address the individual concerns and desires of each potential customer. Do all of this within a few days after the fair.

One year after the fair, you will be asked to fill out another feedback questionnaire about the impact the fair has had on you over the course of the year.
