Intellectual Property Valuation Training
Intellectual property is one of the most important assets in modern business, and its strategic management can significantly enhance a company’s competitiveness and profitability. But how can this asset be assessed and used optimally? The Intellectual Property Valuation Training, led by internationally recognized expert Andre Gorius, provides the answer to this question.
The goal of the training is to offer an in-depth understanding of intellectual property as an asset and to teach participants how to apply various valuation methods and economic concepts necessary for assessing the financial impact of technology. Additionally, participants will be introduced to IP audits, which are crucial in business transactions and company mergers.
During the training, participants will gain the knowledge and skills to:
- Understand the concept of intellectual property as a strategic asset.
- Identify and evaluate the impact of technology on a company’s profitability and competitiveness.
- Apply different valuation methods for intangible assets, including cost-based, market-based, and discounted cash flow methods.
- Conduct intellectual property audits, which help minimize risks and maximize the value of IP within the company.
Requirements for participants: To participate in the training, intermediate or advanced knowledge of intellectual property, financial analysis, and Excel is required.
The training will take place from October 8 to 10, 2024, in Tallinn, Mektory (Raja 15). Training days will start at 9:00 AM and end at 5:15 PM. Up to three participants from one company can attend.

- Applying the appropriate valuation method for different types of IP
