Trade mission to Singapore for companies in the maritime industry

Enterprise Estonia, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, invites companies in the maritime sector to participate in a business mission to Singapore. The partner is Eesti Merendusklaster.

As part of the business mission, we will participate in Singapore Maritime Week 2026, which is an annual gathering place for the international maritime community, focusing on key issues in the maritime industry and exchanging ideas for advancing and innovating the sector.

The trade mission is organized by Enterprise Estonia in cooperation with the Estonian Embassy in Singapore and is funded by From the funds of the European Union’s Recovery and Resilience Facility “NextGenerationEU”.

Participation fee for small and medium-sized enterprises 1,000 EUR, for large enterprises 1,500 EUR + participants pay for their own flight tickets.

The trade mission is aimed to:

  • The target group is maritime sector companies from the following areas: marine technology/innovative solutions provider, shipbuilding and renovation, autonomous shipping, green maritime solutions. We are looking forward to the small and medium-sized companies, but large companies from the above areas can also apply.
  • The main goal of the trade mission is to further develop existing business contacts, cooperation projects or partnerships in the South-East Asia region. Up to 8 Estonian companies whose business goals fit into this format can participate in the business mission.

Purpose and preparation

  • As part of the trade mission, the companies will participate in Singapore Maritime Week 2026 to take part in a high-level program and networking events.
  • The duration of the trade mission is 5 programmed days (20-24.04.2026) plus flight time.
  • The trade mission program is put together by Team Estonia (Enterprise Estonia/MFA) taking into account the participating companies.
  • The head of the trade delegation is being specified.
  • The trade mission is preceded by preparatory work and consulting.
  • As an additional opportunity, we will contribute with a stand (25m2) introducing the Estonian maritime sector at the SMW2026 expo area. The Estonian Maritime Cluster will represent companies in the sector on the stand. Companies can use the stand to organize meetings.
  • The main goal of the trade mission is to further develop already established business contacts and existing cooperation projects or partnerships in the South-East Asia region and to create opportunities for new direct contacts through participation in networking events.
  • Individual B2B meetings for companies are not organized.
  • The communication language is English.

 

 

  • Business delegation first meeting (online, time to be confirmed): We will get to know each other and introduce the further course of work. We will discuss the activities before the business mission and everything related to the organizational side. We will also provide an overview of the most important topics concerning the sector in Singapore.

  • Individual collaboration with the participating company regarding marketing activities and creating additional opportunities within the program.
  • Trade mission delegation online meeting before the business mission, April (date to be confirmed): we will introduce the program and activities, make final agreements before the trip to Singapore.
