Product development support
We support the developmental activities of companies
We encourage undertakings to invest more in development activities that result in the creation of new competitive products and services.
Support applications can be submitted on a rolling basis.
Before submitting the application, a mandatory preliminary consultation must be completed.
Who is the grant intended for?
- Support is available to companies entered in the Estonian commercial register
- The applicant’s average sales revenue for the last two financial years must be at least 200,000 euros
- The planned project must be aimed at developing at least one of the RDIE focus areas
- The project must contribute to upholding the fundamental principles of Estonia 2035 and achieving its objectives
- Before submitting the application, the undertaking must go through a consultation. In order to register for a preliminary consultation contact your client manager or email [email protected]
What qualifies for support?
- labour expenses
- purchasing services necessary for product development
- materials and supplies
- use of devices
The share of the support in the eligible expenses of the project is up to 45% for small companies, 35% for medium-sized companies, and 25% for large companies

A competitive product or service is created
The value added of a product or service will increase
